Urban Design

Creating attractive, adaptable and sustainable urban environments require a detailed understanding of the natural and built environment and the way buildings, and circulation spaces interrelate. At CSa we are able to bring together the specialist disciplines of landscape, ecology, archaeology, town planning and urbanism to inform the design process. The result of this collaboration is the creation of high quality, intelligent schemes which respond sensitively to their site and surroundings.

Our urban design work ranges from townscape appraisals and audits of schemes, as part of the evidence base for public Inquiries, to masterplans for new settlements. Our approach is always one of inclusion: we seek to share our ideas with the public and stakeholders at an early stage.

We present our work in a clear and accessible way and are proud of the quality of our presentations.

Our Urban Design services include:

  • Framework Masterplans
