Planning permission has been granted, on appeal, for 114 houses and apartments on a brownfield site in Woburn Sands, Milton Keynes. The scheme comprises a mix of 3 and 4 storey apartments and 2 storey housing, facing onto a restored lake and children's play area. CSa prepared the DAS for the scheme, the landscape and recreation strategy and provide expert landscape and urban design evidence at the Inquiry.

Reptile Mitigation Guidelines briefly published by Natural England (September 2011) have been withdrawn. Further to additional consultations, it is understood that revised guidance will be issued early in 2012. In the meantime, previous guidance and survey standards continue to apply.
