Ecological surveys for new Tottenham Hotspur stadium

Ecological surveys for new Tottenham Hotspur stadium

CSa Input: Ecologists

Date: 2008 - Present

Client: Tottenham Hotspur Football Club

Tottenham Hotspur has prepared plans for a world class facility incorporating a new 56,000 seat stadium and associated plans for shops, homes and a hotel. If built, the proposed new stadium would keep Spurs at White Hart Lane. CSa have provided ecological advice to the Club comprising  the completion of detailed ecological surveys and the preparation of reporting for the Environmental Statement. We have worked closely with the project team to help ensure that ecological benefits are delivered as part of the redevelopment of the site, including significant areas of green roofing.

The proposals were granted planning permission by Haringey Council in October 2010 and the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has now backed the decision. The club has yet to reach a final decision regarding the implementation of this scheme.
