Construction has begun on the first phase of a major urban extension of 2,500 new homes at East Anton, Andover. Having masterplanned the development and prepared the design codes, the landscape architects and urban designers at CSa are now overseeing the delivery of the initial phases of green infrastructure. This summer over six hectares of sports pitches have been laid out and over a kilometre of cycleways and recreational footpaths installed. Over autumn 2010, 15,000 trees were planted and work started on the first of four play areas.
