Our Response to the Coronavirus
As we all come to terms with the current uncertainties and challenges, we just wanted to explain what we are doing at CSA Environmental. Clearly the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, clients and those in the public sector is our top priority as we strive to maintain our normal high levels of service.
We have implemented a series of measures following government guidelines to ensure we can continue to deliver our services and minimise disruption, without increasing risks for our employees or the wider community.
Steps being taken at CSA:
Employees working from home – You will be able to contact any of our offices on the usual landline numbers, as well as reaching individuals via mobiles or email. We will maintain a skeleton staff within each office if possible, but most staff will be working from home. Systems are in place such that our employees have full access to files and software when working remotely.
Carrying out site visits – In line with current Government guidance, we will be continuing to carry out site visits, although each visit will be assessed on a case by case basis. Staff will only travel to sites when fit and well. We will take the standard precautions of maintaining an appropriate distance from others, washing hands regularly and wearing gloves, as required.
Report limitations – Increasingly, organisations that we need to consult for records/information are closed and as such the content of some reports may need to be adjusted to reflect the available resources. Any such limitations will be clearly acknowledged; updates may need to be made at a later date.
Meetings – We envisage that most meetings we normally attend will be converted to conference/video calls. If it is essential that we attend a meeting we will consider the risk carefully and agree the best approach. All non-essential travel has been cancelled.
With such a rapidly evolving situation it seems inevitable that further changes will occur, which could affect our activities. We will keep clients closely informed if we identify implications for their projects/sites.
If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the CSA team.
