Aidan established ecological services at CSA in 2002. He has over 20 years’ professional experience in consultancy, education and research. Aidan specialises in protected species survey and mitigation work and has extensive experience of licensing for bats, great crested newts and dormice. He has designed and agreed mitigation solutions in respect of development impacts on European Designated Sites across southern England and has wide experience of Ecological Impact Assessment and Habitat Regulations Assessment. Typically working with wider consultant teams on large residential and mixed use development, Aidan co-ordinates CSA’s multi-disciplinary inputs and is an established expert witness. Aidan is also actively involved with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management through his work on the West Midlands Section Committee.
