Senior Ecologist

Since completing an MSc in Ecological Consultancy, Bethany worked at a large consultancy gaining experience of a wide variety of projects, including large scale infrastructure (from design to post-construction) and Environment Agency flood alleviation projects. She has now joined CSA Environmental at the Ashwell office.

Bethany has considerable experience surveying for protected species, such as; great crested newt, water vole, badger, otter, bats and reptiles. She has experience of Preliminary Ecological Appraisal and Ecological Impact Assessment. Bethany has experience of designing and implementing protected species mitigation for great crested newt, badger, reptiles and birds. Bethany holds a Natural England Class Licence for great crested newts and is working towards bat and dormouse licences. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
