Ecologist

Kate joined CSA’s Brighton office as an Assistant Ecologist in 2017, having previously worked for CSA as a sub-contractor while studying part-time for an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management. Kate has experience in Phase 1 habitat survey and protected species surveys, including great created newt, bats, dormice, badgers and reptiles. She recently acquired her Natural England great crested newt survey licence and through her work with a number of conservation groups is working towards her dormouse licence. Having gained a Level 3 Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC), Kate is also enjoying developing her botany skills.
