Ecologist

Laura completed an MSc in Environmental Consultancy from the University of Plymouth (2018). Prior to joining CSA in 2021, she has worked on a range of projects including large-scale infrastructure, small-scale residential developments and monitoring projects.

Laura has experience surveying for protected species, such as great crested newt, badger, hazel dormouse, bats and reptiles. She holds Natural England Class Licences for bats (Level 1) and great crested newt (Level 1). She is particularly interested in working towards her hazel dormouse and level 2 bat licences through being actively involved with local wildlife groups. Laura is currently in the process of applying to be an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
