Mark Rose


Principal Ecologist

Mark has worked in ecological consultancy full time since 2010. He joined CSA in 2015, and has recently relocated to Hampshire to establish a satellite office for CSA in Winchester. Mark specialises in Ecological Impact Assessment (including as part of statutory EIA) and Habitat Regulations Assessment, and has a robust understanding of the planning system. He enjoys working proactively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver positive outcomes for biodiversity, residents and developers. Mark has a wide experience of survey and mitigation planning for protected species, holding survey licences for bats, dormice, great crested newts, smooth snakes and sand lizards.
