Philippa has a Master’s degree from The University of Sheffield in Landscape Architecture where she won the Landscape Institute (Yorkshire & the Humber) Award for Design Excellence in 2016 for her special design project. Philippa has a background in Human Geography having studied for her Undergraduate degree at Lancaster University and University of British Columbia (Vancouver), which has provided her with a professional outlook to design and planning focused on the relationship between society, environment and place. Philippa has been working in private practice for two years. In this time she has gained experience in a wide variety of projects, including residential, mixed use, commercial and mineral extraction. Her work on these projects have included the design of landscape masterplans and strategies to accompany outline and full planning applications, as well as the preparation of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, Green Belt Assessments and promotional documents.
Philippa is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute through the Institute’s Pathway to Chartership programme.
