Tom Hicks


Assistant Ecologist

Tom joined the Pershore based ecology team in April 2018 and has built experience with ecological appraisal and protected species surveys. Previous consultancy work has focused on bat and reptile surveys along the south coast and Tom also has experience in surveying and managing Japanese knotweed having previously worked for a specialist knotweed contractor. As part of his dissertation, Tom worked on a large coastal realignment project involving a large scale water vole mitigation element, comparing the effectiveness of commonly used planting methods for water voles.
